最近准备搬家，将所有的书又收拾了一下，随手翻过一本又一本，其实这么多的书籍当中，基本的定理和原则都是一样的，在理论方面的阐述基本都是类似的。不同的只是表达方法和表现形式。

这就如同学习英语一样，正确的方法其实都很明显，每一位想要学好英语的朋友其实也多半了解正确的学习方法。所以问题的关键不在于知不知道。而在于能不能采取行动，去做到。所以接下来我为了成为一名世界级的英语教练，将会把重点放在如何激励学习者采取正确的行动，目标是使用和学好英语，而不是在各种方法之间进行取舍。为了达到帮助学习者使用和学好英语这个目的，任何的方法和理论都是可以拿过来进行实践和使用的。

I am of the belief that the majority of people can improve their presentations dramatically by focusing on eliminating bad habits and presentation skills more than seeking to add anything on. How often have you come out of a seminar and overheard someone say, “Wow, she was great! Did you see how effectively she used her hand gestures?” That said, here are some ideas to help you become a better speaker.

1. Keep it simple

 Speak naturally
      Make eye contact
     Don’t do crazy things with your hands
     Don’t do much more than speak, i.e. managing props etc.

1. Be impassioned

2. Balance the format of your information

3. Build the relationships beforehand if possible

4. Get the audience to participate at varying levels if effective

5. Show, don’t tell. That is, use stories, not facts and figures

6. Get rid of distracting idiosyncrasies

7. Don’t misinterpret people’s actions and get discouraged

8. Know your material

9. Never, ever, go overtime
