寂寞沙洲冷
Cold in the lonely shoal
等你走后心憔悴
since your departure I’ve pined away,
白色油桐风中纷飞
white tung leaves are flying in the wind.
落花随人幽情这个季节
in this season, fallen flowers are as sentimental as people may. 
河畔的风放肆拼命的吹
the wind by the riverside is wildly blowing,
不断拨弄女人的眼泪
with women’s tears it is continuously fiddling.
那样浓烈的爱再也无法给
that strong love cannot be given any more,
伤感一夜一夜
one night after another heartfelt pain cannot stop at all.
当记忆的线缠绕过往支离破碎
when memories tangled in broken past,
是黄昏占据了心扉
her heart is fully occupied in the dusk.
有花儿伴着蝴蝶
With flowers accompanying butterflies there,
孤燕可以双飞
even isolated swallows can fly in pairs.
夜深人静独徘徊
wandering alone at such deep and silent night,
当幸福恋人寄来红色分享喜悦,
when my happy lover sends me red for share,
闭上双眼难过头也不敢回
closing my eyes, so sad that I dare not turn my head.
仍然渐渐恨之不肯安歇微带着后悔
still unwilling to rest with regret and grudge, 
寂寞沙洲我该思念谁
in the lonely shoal whom shall I miss?
